Songs You Have To See Him Perform

“Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers

“Purple Rain” by Prince

Ralph Valente started his long music career that spans over 40 years as a drummer and vocalist. He primarily was the drummer and shared lead vocal duties for the popular Connecticut band, Sparkle, which also featured his brother, Sal. Sparkle played in venues all across Connecticut from the mid-70s until 1995. After a music hiatus of over 10 years, Ralph came out of retirement and became the replacement drummer for the band Timeless, which featured Primetime bassist, Paul Puglisi.

In 2010, Ralph left Timeless to form Primetime with his brother Sal on keyboards and vocals and also Paul on bass. However, Ralph would be leaving his seat behind the kit to come up front as lead vocalist for Primetime. You can still see Ralph play the drums from time-to-time, but it is his frontman and singing abilities that highlight the energy he brings to the people who come see the band perform every night.
